GARY

LEAD VOCALS, GUITAR
About Gary….
With the talent to match the looks, Gary is the quintessential front man for the party cover band. One moment he’s belting out a Pearl Jam tune that would make Eddie Vedder raise a brow; the next kicking it out via a female lead………..yes, that’s right. The mans got range. Compound that with his amazing stage presence and you just can’t go wrong here folks. Be it interacting with the crowd, picking up rhythm duties on guitar, bitch-slappin’ the tambourine/congas or grinding with the hotties by the stage- Gary’s got it ALL covered. Did I mention he ENJOYS this as well? Bank it, the man is on point and the ladies absolutely love him for it.
He is the face of Fish Out Of Water and a driving force behind their success
BRIAN

LEAD GUITAR, VOCALS

Brian Kelly (affectionately referred to as “BK” by friends and foe alike:), has had an obsession with music since early childhood. At age 7, BK began messing around on the family piano. Like today, he loved entertaining his family and friends but ultimately ended up yearning for a more expressive “rock” instrument. By the time he was 11, he possessed his own guitar and musically, felt at “home”. Self taught through the internet and books, BK has an impeccable ear to perfectly emulate and reproduce each note he is hearing from song to song. Additionally, he has studied music theory which has proven fruitful in several successful auditions for area original and cover bands.
His drive however, proved to be too much for the amateur musician so it was at this moment BK began his journey searching for “like-minded” musicians. ENTER: FISH OUT OF WATER…….
A self proclaimed “party animal”, BK is no slouch on smoking licks, and crazy onstage antics. Moreover, his infectious demeanor is quite the contrary to typical “rock star” guitarist. He is professional, dedicated, amazingly talented and completely committed to seeing Fish Out Of Water all the way through. He puts on a show like no other and has superior chops to boot. A once in a lifetime guitarist, the band is truly blessed to have such a talent on it’s roster. In the words of the famous catch phrase of BK himself, all we can say to having him on board is “HELL YEAH!”
                 JACK

        DRUMS, VOCALS

"Well", reasoned Jack's parents some years ago, "He likes music.  Maybe if we get him drums, he'll be exhausted after playing and will stop bouncing off the walls all the time."  They were half right.

Today, Jack plays his heart out but hasn't calmed down a bit.  A front-man in the back line, you can see him twirling during even the shortest break in a song. He's been known to stand on his drum stool mid-song and take flying leaps off DJ booths.  The only cure, as it turns out, is more cowbell!

Along with laying down danceable grooves, pounding out hard rock thunder, and adding a fantastic visual element, Jack is also a veteran of Philly's original music scene.  Over the past six years he has played live and recorded indie and small-label bands before taking the cover band circuit by storm 2010.

Oh yeah, he teaches drum lessons in Northeast Philly, and writes music columns.  Go ahead, ask him about the time he interviewed the bassist of Kings of Leon the day after they won a grammy.  It's a pretty funny story!!!

SANTIAGO

BASS, VOCALS

You may not feel it from out in the crowd but the band sure does from the stage....that bouncing is San jumping up and down to every lick, pop and snap of the bass strings. This guys is in it for the love of music, PERIOD. And that ain't all....backing vocals, crowd interaction, partying it up on stage- San truly becomes a different person up there under the lights. Talk about raw enthusiam, this guy never fails to impress night in, night out. He is perfectly at home playing bass and adds an element that puts the band even farther over the top. .

RAY

KEYS, VOCALS

Ray Palmer has had a real love of music since an early age. He began playing drums at age 9 and piano at 13. Also, Ray also plays a number of other instruments such as guitar, bass, and saxophone.

Growing up in Philadelphia, Ray started performing with both cover and original bands at age 15. Throughout high school, he developed his voice and began writing songs. Soon after, he formed his popular original band 3 Mile Island. In this band, Ray was the lead singer, pianist, and main songwriter.

After high school, Ray attended University of the Arts in downtown Philadelphia, where he continued to study music.

Ray has recorded multiple original albums. 3 Mile Island’s 2007 album, “Radio-Active” had some popular songs and received airtime on WMMR. Ray’s 2010 “60 Strong Words” is his latest recording in which he plays all the instruments. He has also played drums in numerous recordings with bands such as Coercion and Without Parachute.

In recent years, Ray has become the main Piano/Drum teacher at the Bucks Country School of Rock. He continues to play out in the Philly music scene with cover bands and performing his own material.
